Designed and produced by Mekar Bhuana Production based on vintage photos, this style of gentorag with three sizes of brass bells is smaller and lighter than contemporary models. The frame is made from hard wood, not metal and is painted in the old style. Generally, this type of gentorag has a higher pitch. An important aspect for us is that it has no plastic or rubber on it, using traditional bamboo for the separators.

In former ensembles, two gentorag were often included (played by either one or two musicians) – if you order pair we will make sure that they are pitched slightly differently.
