Troubleshooting: Accessing the Encyclopedia

Troubleshooting: Accessing the Encyclopedia

We want your experience with our digital flipbook to be as seamless as possible. Because this is a high-resolution, multimedia-rich resource, your browser may occasionally “cache” (save) old data that prevents the latest version from loading.

If you are having trouble viewing the encyclopedia, try these quick fixes:

  1. Quick Refresh

Sometimes, a simple “hard refresh” is all you need to clear out old data.

Windows/Linux: Press Ctrl + F5

Mac (Chrome/Safari): Press Cmd + Shift + R

  1. Try an “Incognito” or “Private” Window

If the page remains blank or the flipbook won’t load, try opening the link in an Incognito (Chrome) or Private (Safari/Firefox) window. If the book loads perfectly here, it means your browser’s local cache needs to be cleared.

  1. Clear Your Site Data

If you prefer not to use an Incognito window, you can clear the data just for our website:

Click the Lock icon or Settings icon in your browser’s address bar (next to the website URL).

Select “Cookies and site data” or “Site settings.”

Select “Manage on-device site data.”

Click the Trash icon next to our website and click “Done.”

Refresh your page and log in again.

  1. Check Your Connection

Since this resource includes curated external media, ensure you are not behind a restrictive firewall or a VPN that might be blocking external streaming links.
